She was hit by a car as she cycled on the Clonea Road in Dungarvan at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The teenager was airlifted by helicopter to CUH where she is in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a woman in her late 30's, was unhurt but treated for shock at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
