The latest Trolley Watch figures from the INMO show there are 65 people on trolleys at the Emergency Department at Cork University Hospital.
There are also 27 people waiting for a bed at the Mercy, one of whom is under the age of 16.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today with 77 patients without a bed.
