55 people have been admitted into hospitals across Cork without a bed to accommodate them.

Nationally, 476 people are waiting on trollies this morning.

INMO figures show 40 such patients at Cork University Hospital, 10 at the Mercy, and 5 in Bantry General.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 112 patients on trolleys.
