49 Cork food producers have been selected as finalists for the annual Blas na hÉireann, Irish Food Awards.
The 15th year of the awards is set to take place at the end of September in Dingle, where visitors can try a wide range of homegrown, local Irish produce.
This year saw almost 3000 entries into the awards, which were judged in June and July.
Among the 49 Cork finalists were; Rebel Chilli, Stonewell Cider, Silver Pail Dairy, Carrigaline Farmhouse Cheese and Ballyvolane House Spirits Company Ltd.
Speaking as the finalists were announced, Blas na hÉireann Chairperson, Artie Clifford said:
"I can't tell you how thrilled we are to welcome everyone back to Dingle this year. We are in awe of the resilience of the people in our industry, and to see so many new producers and products come through again this year just makes the excitement for Blas 2022 even more palpable."
