The 2022 Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is in full swing - with the whole city abuzz.
Over a thousand musicians will be performing as part of the Festival, which is now in it's 44th year.
The weekend offers a wide range of free street events for the whole family.
Speaking to RedFM News, Chairperson of the Cork Jazz Festival Committee, Fiona Collins says the atmosphere for the Jazz is always special:
The atmosphere is always magical over the weekend, I have to say is one of my favourite parts of the weekend. It's just the anticipation. I think it's the buzz around the city. There's just something in the air over the weekend so really, really loved the build up to this year's festival. It seems to have been great. Everything's really positive ticket sales are going well. And in general people are excited about getting out. And so hopefully people will come down and experience the festival and just have a really great weekend."
