2 people have been taken to hospital after a car hit a wall and went on fire in Blackrock in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say no serious injuries have been reported after the incident which happened at Crab Lane at 1.40am.
The scene is currently sealed off for a technical examination and inquiries are ongoing.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Shortly after 1:40am on Friday, 28th November 2025, Gardaí were alerted after a car struck a wall at Crab Lane, Blackrock, Cork, and caught fire. Two individuals were taken to CUH for assessment. No serious injuries were reported. The scene is currently preserved for examination. Inquiries are ongoing."
