It's all eyes on Ireland as one of Twitter's senior executives battles against the company's recent jobs cuts controversy.
Dublin-based Global Vice President for Public Policy - Sinead McSweeney - secured a temporary injunction in the High Court yesterday, preventing the app from terminating her employment.
Peter Leonard is a Barrister who specialises in Employment Law - he says there's huge interest in the case across the globe:
"She has got an interim injunction, which just parks everything for the moment. It will have to be litigated. It will have to go to court. She will have to say that she has rights that were not respected and that will park things and then the court will look at that, and probably there will be some form of settlement. If the company is minded to terminate somebody's employment, they probably can proceed with that. But they will have to pay significant compensation".
