Originally a Mayo native but now an adopted Corkonian with a fully stamped rebel passport (tetanus shots too!); Philip has over 12 years commercial radio experience. Having started out in legal radio as a professional "coffee maker" in Dublin and Kerry, he found his way home hiking down the N7 to Cork and has been on the airwaves in the Rebel county ever since.

You can hear Philip on-air Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm on The Red Zone and also on Red FM's Entertainment News. At the weekends, Philip is out and about with Red FM roadshows and outside broadcasts, interacting with the people of Cork. He has a number of night club residencies in the Munster area and Philip also works as a successful event producer in Cork. With no rest for the wicked he has been known to throw the odd party or two... per week!

In his free time, Philip is a home cinema fanatic with an ever growing DVD collection, a car enthusiast and admits to having a guilty pleasure for boys toys and gadgets.

His greatest achievement in life?...becoming a Dad!
