Ya know the way every group has one, the waster, the black sheep, the ginger wan from Girls Aloud…Well Seamus is usually that one…bless his cotten socks! That said Seamus somehow managed to land the coolest gig in Cork and is currently in the market for a dozen new alarm clocks should you have any spare?!

A Cork feen born and bred, he's a proud West Cork man from Barryroe ( no not BaLLyroe....BaRRyroe!), a gem of a parish with it's very own song (the Barryroe Song) which was a massive hit in the West Cork Top 30! A UCC boy for three years he left with a degree in Social Science, but a PhD in Cramming and Lennox's menu board.

Now, having worked in the radio business outside of Cork for the last few years, on his return the biggest fear is Mammy listening in...she's convinced he'll shame the family.

Having spent the last few weeks aclimatising to the early starts and now that the grouchiness has been removed from his morning demeanour be sure to check him out on the Red Rooster weekdays from 6am.

When not in RedFM he spends most afternoons nodding off on the couch while attempting to watch Top Gear re-runs…sad but true. Other TV highlights of his include Fraiser and Boston Legal…THE BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD EVER!

Not a total couch potato you’ll often catch Seamus cheering on Munster in Musgrave Park, running 5k’s(more like 5metres), and attempting to perfect the front crawl (saw Ml Phelps doing it and thought it was easy…little did he know).
