Job Title: Inhouse Influencer
The Shoe Suite & O’ Dwyers Footwear is a family owned, third generation business
which is trading for nearly 60 years. The first store was opened in Midleton in 1960
by Florence O’ Dwyer and since then her son David O’ Dwyer has opened a further
six stores, trading under two different names. The company also has a wholesale
business which designs and distributes men’s footwear, Mezlan.
The Shoe Suite are now looking for an inhouse influencer to communicate about
fashion with a particular focus on shoes. The ideal candidate will be someone who is
passionate about fashion and social media. The role will require excellent
communication skills and the confidence to be the face of Shoe Suite both online
This is a flexible role that can be carried out by the successful candidate in their own
time. With only 5 fixed hours in the week on Saturday afternoons when the influencer
will be situated in store to meet and greet customers, informing them of the latest
products on sale. The candidate will have a great amount of control over the content
that is posted online but it is expected that they will be visible across multiple social
networks. This role will provide great experience and a creative outlet for someone
who is interested in fashion.
Working with the Retail Operations Manager to devise and deliver a campaign of
articles exploring each of the brands that are available in Shoesuite. You will devise
and deliver an outbound social media campaign across an initial three month period.
You will be devising and delivering an engagement campaign targeting both existing
and potential customers. Being responsive to live social media activity including
responding to messages and engaging with comments across all channels.
Identifying content generated by others that ShoeSuite should engage with and to
engage that content. Cultivating a voice for the store that is consistent with who we
are and what we represent.
Who We are Looking For:
- The ideal candidate is a talented fashion writer with potential, a creative voice and
an existing personal fashion blog.
- Confident at identifying and highlighting unique elements across a spectrum
- Professional, presentable and capable of conducting interviews with customers on
- Skilled with using a smartphone to frame and capture live events.
- Social Media experience, including ‘going live', highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fashion and the role of shoes in that industry is essential.
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
