Ousted president of Catalonia hands himself into Belgian authorities
Public broadcaster VRT is reporting Carles Puigdemont and 4 others handed themselves in earlier today.
The country’s state prosecutor is due to brief the media shortly.
On Friday, a Spanish judge issued European Arrest Warrants for Mr Puigdemont and four other members of his former Cabinet who had fled to Brussels earlier in the week.
The Catalan leaders are facing charges of rebellion, sedition and misuse of public funds in Spain.
