Official launch of the Cork LGBT Awareness Week takes place at the City Hall tomorrow
The event will see different events and workshops take place all across the city, as this year's theme is "Cork - A republic of equals"
Cork LGBT Awareness Week is organised by an Interagency Steering Group who say they are promoting Cork as a vibrant, open and welcoming city, no matter what your sexuality.
Speaking to RedFM news Chair of the LGBT steering group Siobhan O'Dowd says it's important to celebrate the contribution of the LGBT community to the city.
