Minister Grants Medicinal Cannabis Licence For Ava Twomey
A Cork mother has taken to Facebook in the past half an hour to confirm that she will be home for Christmas with her daughter Ava after they were granted a licence to adminster medicinal cannabis to her.
Vera Twomey and her husband Paul moved their daughter to Holland six months ago so that she could receive medicinal cannabis treatment for her severe form of epilepsy.
It's now emerged that the Health Minister has signed a licence for Ava to receive access to medicinal cannabis in Ireland
