Homeless Charity predict homeless figures are much higher
The McVerry Trust say it could be twice the amount official figures suggest
Campaigner Fr Peter McVerry believes the figure is much higher than the 8,000 in emergency accommodation.
At the launch of his trust's annual report he said the situation looks like it's continuing to worsen.
Fr McVerry says he believes we're not seeing the worst of the crisis.
