Cork charity helps thousands avoid homelessness amid housing crisis
It comes following the introduction of the Tenancy Protection Service in Cork
Threshold say in 2015 they helped over 1,000 people avoid homelessness and they expect that figures for 2016 will be similar.
A supply shortage Leeside has been blamed for rising rents and the housing charity says many of their clients are struggling to keep their heads above water.
Calls to the service in Cork have increased by 26% and Niall Horgan of Threshold has been telling RedFM News why.
