JUST IN: Electric Picnic 2018 Line Up Announced
The line up for this year's Electric Picnic has just been announced.
The annual festival takes place at it's usual location of Stradbally, Co. Laois on August 31st - September 2nd.
This morning festival organisers unveiled the acts that will be taking to the stage over the weekend including headliners Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack and Pharrell Williams' N.E.R.D.
In December the festival announced an all female comedy line up to create more of a gender balance at the festival. The comedy line up includes Joanne Mc Nally as MC, Aoife Dooley, Lisa Casey, Sharon Mannion, Aine Gallagher, Harriet Braine , Ashlee Bentley, Sahar Ali, Blaithin DeBurca, Aoife O’Connor, Christina McMahon, Orla O’Doherty Brown, Fiona Frawley and Grace Mulvey.
It was revealed last year that the festival is worth €8 million to Laois with half of that being spent in Stradbally alone!
Sunday day tickets are already sold out but some weekend tickets are still available to buy, however they are expected to be sold out very soon! Remaining tickets for the festival are available here.
More acts will be announced over the months following up to the festival.
The list of acts announced today are:
CIGARETTES AFTER SEX
GANG OF YOUTHS
