Ireland's Most Googled Music Acts 2015
Here's a look at what we were searching for in 2015.
Ireland's Top 5 Searched For Music Acts 2015:
- Ed Sheeran
- Eagles Of Death Metal
- Lil' Chris
- Meghan Trainor
The top searched for music act in Ireland this year is no surprise as Ed Sheeran takes poll position. The singer songwriter had a huge year that saw him take to the stage in Croke Park and play two sold out shows to 160,000 people as well as an intimate gig in Whelan's in Dublin earlier in the year to record his VH1 Storytellers show.
Adele comes in at second place following the release of her record breaking new album '25' released in December which features the single 'Hello' which again smashed records all over the globe.
In third place is Eagles Of Death Metal. The band were playing the Bataclan Theatre in Paris when terrorists stormed the building in the middle of the concert and killed 89 of their fans during the Paris attacks in November.
Lil' Chris is in fourth place. The once teenage pop star tragically died in March at the age of 24.
In fifth place is Meghan Trainor. The popstar had huge hits during the year with "All About That Bass", "Lips Are Movin", "Marvin Gaye Let's Get It On".
