West Cork village calls for tourism recovery post COVID19

A West Cork village says a major tourism drive will be needed when the COVID19 crisis passes.

A tourism campaign had been launched in Courtmacsherry in recent years to get the village included on the Wild Atlantic Way signposting however locals fear the recovery from COVID19 restrictions will undo much of that work into the future.

The only business open in the village at the moment is the local shop with the remaining pubs, hotel and accommodation facilities all closed due to current restricitons.
