UNITE Warn Driving Instructors And Their Students Could Be At Risk Of Covid-19

That's if the government doesn't implement safety guidelines for them

The trade union which represents instructors says there are potentially 20,000 interactions between drivers and students every day.

Last month, the RSA  provided guidance to driving instructors at test centres but not during lessons.

Unite Regional Officer Jean O'Dowd says they've asked the Transport Minister to consult with them to develop safety protocols for their sector:
