Pavee Point Urges Gardai To Be 'More Assertive In Dispersing People' When Large Numbers Attend Funerals

Up to 150 people attended four Traveller funerals in Cork and Wexford over the past week.

A Travellers' group is calling for gardai to be 'more assertive in dispersing people' when large numbers attend funerals.

Up to 150 people attended four Traveller funerals in Cork and Wexford over the past week.

And it's reported people travelled from Britain to go to a funeral in Cork City on Monday.

Martin Collins, a co-director of Pavee Point, says the gardai need to better enforce social-distancing rules.
