IOC to meet with Japanese government

The International Olympic Committee is to discuss postponing the 2020 games in Tokyo with the Japanese government today.

This summer's Olympics are due to start on the 24th of July but look set to be rescheduled amid the ongoing global health crisis.

Canada and Australia have already said they won't be sending athletes to Tokyo, while the USA and New Zealand are the latest nations to urge the IOC to postpone the Games until next year.
