Cork doctor based in Perth on his way back to Ireland to help battle the outbreak of COVID19

Dr. PJ O Donoghue moved to Australia with four of his fellow UCC class mates upon graduation but all of them have made the decision to return to Ireland to offer their services.

It's expected a number of nurses and doctors will return to Irish soil to help with the crisis.

It comes as the Dáil meets this afternoon to approve drastic new laws to deal with the spread of the coronavirus.

Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Dr. PJ O Donoghue says they're giving up everything but it's a small price to pay to help people at home:
