Two People From Cork Have Been Honoured At Today's National Carer Of The Year Awards
30 people, including 4 young carers, were recognised at a ceremony held by Family Carer's Ireland
18 year old Lily Power won the 2019 Netwatch Young Carers of the Year for Munster.
Lily has been caring from a very young age for her mum who has Parkinson's.
Jeremiah O'Donovan was also was one of those recognised. He cares for his mother and brother and says he stepped into the role after his father suddenly passed away.
