Two men remain in Garda custody in Mallow following 20km rampage
The incident occurred in north Cork yesterday evening
The two men one in his 20's and the other in his 30's were travelling in a four wheel drive, when they struck several vehicles as it was driven through Charleville and Buttevant before it was eventually stopped at New Twopothouse.
Emergency Services were called to the scene to treat one of the men in the SUV before they were taken into custody.
Three people were taken to Cork University Hospital with minor injuries. It has be established that the offending vehicle was taken without the consent of the owner from a farm in Banogue, Co.Limerick.
The road at New Twopothouse was closed for several hours while Gardai conducted an investigation.
Gardai at Mallow have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on 022 21105.
