The Irish Medical Organisation Is To Ballot Its Members For Industrial Action Today
Consultant and Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors will be balloted
They will ballot over the Government's failure to tackle the recruitment and retention crisis.
It's calling for an immediate end to pay inequality, after consultants suffered a 30 per cent pay cut in October 2012.
Former President of the Irish Medical Organisation, Dr. Matthew Sadlier says they've been left with no choice but to consider action:
