The Family Of A 19 Year Old Cork Man Paralysed From The Chest Down Are Overwhelmed By Support
Jack O'Driscoll from Mayfield suffered a fall on the 1st of March and fractured the C5 vertebrae in his neck.
He was rushed to Cork University Hospital just hours before the status Red Weather alert came into effect during Storm Emma.
The CIT student was transferred to the Mater Hospital in Dublin due to the severity of his injuries, where he is currently receiving treatment.
A Go Fund Me Campaign set up by his family has raised almost €96,000 in 5 days.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, Jack's Cousin Brian Punch says the family are overwhelmed by people's generosity:
