Tender For Long-Awaited Macroom Bypass Yet To Be Granted
This has prompted fears the project could be further delayed
Minister Michael Creed told RedFM News in August that he expected funding for the €300 million euro project to be granted in September however the government still have not signed off on the contract.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland say the 22 kilometre bypass linking Cork and Kerry will be used by around 20,000 vehicles every day.
