Taoiseach to select 17 junior ministers

It's expected the government will appoint junior ministers following a cabinet meeting today.

There are 17 roles to fill with an extra focus on the appointments following criticism of the geographical spread of the cabinet ministers.

The Taoiseach has been criticised for not picking any senior minister from Donegal to Limerick and in the south east.
