Residents of the Lough voice their objections to a proposed block of student accommodation in the area
A peaceful protest was mounted yesterday by the Save The Lough From High Rise group, who have raised a number of concerns in relation to the development
Residents say the planned 350 bed, 4 storey student accommodation block is out of proportion, out of scale and out of character with the area.
Speaking to RedFM News, Dr Jane O'Connor of "Save The Lough From High Rise" says the area and community could be potentially changed forever if it goes ahead.
