Post mortem to be carried out on Dublin woman
A samurai sword and a meat cleaver are among the weapons which may have been used during an attack on a woman in west Dublin yesterday.
The 57-year-old, named locally as Jean Eagers, was pronounced dead following the assault at her home in Hartstown.
A post mortem is due to be carried out on her body this morning, while a 60 year-old man remains in Garda custody.
