Minister Paschal Donohoe has said his party will be arguing in favour of big road projects like the M20 Cork-Limerick motorway going ahead.
But he stopped short of guaranteeing its progress saying three parties will all have a say if there's a new government formed.
It comes after Green Party TD Ossian Smyth said construction of the M20 would not start in the next five years, though preparatory work would be going ahead.
Some Fine Gael & Fianna Fáil TDs have said the motorway project will happen, but Paschal Donohoe stopped short of that:
