Man gets stuck in a piece of furniture in the city
It happened at a property near Dennehy's Cross this afternoon.
A man has been taken to hospital after becoming stuck in a piece of furniture in the city.
This incident happened at a property on Model Farm Road earlier this afternoon.
It's understood that the man became stuck in a fitted kitchen unit.
Two ambulances, gardaí and the fire brigade responded to the scene and worked together to safely remove the man.
He was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital where his condition is not believed to be serious but it's understood that the man is distressed following the incident.
No foul play is suspected.
