Joshua Allen To Be Sentenced Today For Drug Offences
The son of celebrity chef Rachel Allen is due to be sentenced today for drugs offences.
19 year old Joshua Allen of Ballinamona, Shanagarry Co Cork pleaded guilty earlier this year to three drugs offences, including one of possessing €22,000 worth of cannabis for sale or supply at Ballymaloe Cookery school on the 30th of August 2018.
Judge Sean O Donnabhain told Allen at Cork Circuit Criminal Court three weeks ago that he had read a probation report on himj and he was less than impressed with Allen's attitude towards his offending.
He remanded Allen in custody until this morning to see if he had obtained a residential place at Tabor Lodge, but warned that if a place was not available, Allen could find himself facing a longer period in custody.
