High Court Decision 'Vital To Commuters Leeside' According to Cork Chamber of Commerce
They decided to dismiss a challenge to An Bord Pleanála's decision to grant approval for the M28 motorway between Cork and Ringaskiddy
The Cork Chamber of Commerce say those commuting between the Carrigaline area and the city as well of the Port of Cork operations were all dependent on the decision.
The controversial motorway was give the green light by An Bord Pleanála despite strong objections by locals who raised concerns about increased traffic volumes, and air and noise pollution.
They mounted a challenge but were unsuccessful in the High Court just before Christmas.
Speaking to RedFM News Conor Healy of Cork Chamber of Commerce says it's vital the project moves ahead:
