Government accused of allowing rural post network dwindle away
The Government has been accused of "sitting on its hands" and allowing Cork's rural post office network dwindle away.
Cork Fianna Fail TD Aindrias Moynihan is calling for the network to be re-invented before the national asset disappears.
He claims the Government is in possession of a report for the last 9 months that shows how the post office network can be revitalised and play a pivotal role in rural communities once again.
Speaking to RedFM News Deputy Moynihan says the Government needs to get on and implement the report.
