Gardai In Cobh Appeal For Witnesses To Hit And Run
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run incident in Cobh yesterday evening.
A 15 year old girl was struck by a vehicle at the top of Laundry Hill, which failed to stop and remain at the scene at approx 8.40pm.
The girl was taken to Cork University Hospital and treated for non life threatening facial injuries.
The car involved was described as dark coloured and is believed to have gone in the direction of Newtown Cobh.
