Former Cork City Player Scores €1 Million Lotto Win
A Former Cork City defender has become the first millionaire in this year's Lotto.
Kevin O'Connor, who's from Wexford and plays for Preston North End in the English Championship, won after being given a Lotto ticket as a Christmas gift from his godfather.
The ticket was bought two weeks before Christmas in the Centra store in Castlebridge, Co.Wexford.
Kevin says that despite the win, his main focus is helping his club win promotion to the Premier League.
