Customers in tracker mortgage scandal could be repaid before Christmas
That's according to the Governor of the Central Bank says he thinks the majority could be repaid in December
Philip Lane was speaking as some of the banks meet with the government to explain how they will deal with the issue.
He added he's not going to put a figure on the final compensation bill which is already €160 million for a fraction of customers.
But CEO of the Irish Mortgage Holders Association David Hall says it's too little too late.
