County Council Examine Impact Of Storm Ophelia On Cork's Coastline
The County Council are currently examining the impact of Storm Opehlia on over 1,000 km of coastline across Cork.
Council crews are asking the public to remain vigilant while walking on cliff walkways over the coming weeks, as many may have been damaged by high seas during the storm.
The council will also examine piers, harbours and pontoons to assess the level of damage across the county.
Listeners are being advised that an emergency helpline remains open if members of the public come across any damage to coastal infrastructure they can call 021 4800048.
