Cork Teachers Unite In Their Fight To End Pay Inequality

The Education Minister says the government will deal with the issue through a pay review process.

Cork teachers say they are united in the fight to end pay inequality.

They made the comment at the INTO's annual conference in Galway where incoming General Secretary John Boyle described the issue as a "great injustice".

The Education Minister Joe McHugh addressed delegates this morning, telling them the government would deal with the issue through a pay review process.

However the Minister says he can't commit to a timeline to end pay inequality for teachers.

Speaking to RedFM News, this teacher at Scoil Barra Naofa Bhuachaillí in Beaumont says the minister needs to act on his words
