Cork Mother Accuses Minister For Health For Stalling On Medicinal Cannabis Report
A Cork mother has accused the Minister for Health of sitting on a report by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) on Medicinal Cannabis.
Vera Twomey has been campaiging for legislation to allow her daughter Ava get a prescription for CBD cannabis oil to help regulare multiple daily seizures that result from a rare form of epilepsy she has.
Simon Harris pledged to make changes if a policy review on medicinial cannabis recommended doing so.
Following a call to the Ministers office, the Aghabullogue woman says she has been told the report is sitting on the Minister's desk and has accused him of stalling.
