Cork Mental Health Charity Say They Are Experiencing Large Rise In Number Of Calls From Concerned Parents

They say parents are worried their teenage or adult child may be suicidal

Lisheens House in Skibbereen receives calls every day from parents looking for advice on how to best help their children with mental health issues and since Christmas there has been a spike in these calls

Noreen Murphy founder of the charity believes that rising rents and difficulties securing mortgages mean grown up children are forced to live at home and as a result feel locked out of the housing market 

Speaking to RedFM News Noreen says parents are concerned that their children seem panicked and unable to cope;
