Westlife arrived in Pairc Uí Chaoimh shortly before 9am to announce that they'll be taking to the stage in Cork next August.
It's the first time an Irish act has played in the Cork stadium in 27 years. U2 were the last Irish act to play there.
Speaking to RedFM News at this morning's press conference the group say Cork will be their only Irish gig, but they said they couldn't confirm whether another date would be added:
