Cork Family left homeless in the aftermath of Storm Ophelia
A young couple in their 20's and their 18 month old girl are homeless since Monday
Its after the roof of their mobile home was torn off on Monday night.
The couple are now sleeping in the back of the van while their infant is staying with her grandmother.
Nobody was seriously injured in the event, however the father lacerated his fingers in attempt to keep hold of the roof.
Members of the Greeen Party visited the site in Spring Lane after having been contacted by the Traveller Visibility Group.
The Green Party are calling on the Minister for Housing to make emergency funding available to Cork City Council to re-home them.
Oliver Moran of the Green Party met the family and speaking to RedFM News he says they managed to get out on time.
