Cork City Council Issue Tidal Flood Alert For The City
The alert for tomorrow and Wednesday warns of very high tides.
The Council have warned there is a risk of significant flooding along the quays as well as Oliver Plunkett Street, Patrick Street, Grand Parade, Washington Street and Lower Glanmire Road and say a number of road closures and traffic restrictions will be put in place.
A limited number of gel-bags and sand bags are available to collect at the Council Depot on Anglesea Terrace and at Tramore Valley Park.
High tide tomorrow is at 4:50am and 17:13pm.
High tide on Wednesday is at 05:34am
