Contract For Long Awaited N22 Macroom Bypass Has Been Signed Today
The formal signing of the €280 million euro contract follows a number of false dawns for the project.
It's hoped it will lead to reduced travel times, increased road safety as well as less congestion in Macroom town.
Work on the bypass project is expected to start before the end of the year.
