City Council Crisis Management Team Meeting To Assess Clean Up
Cork City Council's Crisis Management Team is currently meeting at the Local Co-Ordination Centre after which a formal update will be issued.
Over 300 Council crews and contractors have been working since daybreak and as of 9am all the city's main roads were cleared of trees.
The recovery operation will now turn from the city's main traffic arteries to first clearing the more secondary routes of fallen trees and then of storm debris.
