Boy (10) dies in apparent drowning at a house in Louth
A 10 year boy has died at a house in Co. Louth.
He died in an apparent drowning.
Gardaí were called to the house in Carlingford following reports that a boy had drowned.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A file is being prepared for the coroners court.
It's the second tragedy to involve a child in Co. Louth in recent days.
On Sunday, seven year old Chantelle Keenan died in an accident while she was playing in the driveway of a house in Drogheda.
