90 families a month are becoming homeless
That's according to Focus Ireland who says it's unacceptable and wronG
Up to 3000 children are homeless across the country with the largest number of homeless children below the age of 5.
Over 100 business people Leeside slept out lastnight in solidarity with homeless people.
It's part of Focus Ireland's annual Shine A Light Campaign to raise funds for homeless people across the country.
17 businesses in took part in the sleep out at Cork's City Goal with RedFM's Colm O'Sullivan and Philip Bourke in attendance.
The aim of the campaign is to raise up to €500,000 euro for the charity who continue to combat homelessness.
Speaking to RedFM News Director of Services for Focus Ireland Kathryn Marr says homelessness has a huge impact on children.
