The talented Heath Ledger who passed away on the 22nd of January last year in his New York apartment due to an accidental over dose was honoured at the Golden Globe awards last night. The actor was awarded a posthumous gong for his role as The Joker in the Dark Knight. The 28 year old actor whom many felt was at the peak of his career at the time of his unfortunate death, was honoured with the title of best supporting actor for Batman –The Dark Knight masterpiece. Dark Night director Christopher Nolan said, on collecting the award, “He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten.” Heath’s win at the Golden Globes also increases the likelihood of him being nominated for an Oscar...watch this space....
